• Say goodbye to sound-limiter stress! With many wedding venues now having sound restrictions, each instrument of a showband can be an extra worry you don’t need, a roaming band however has no such issue as there is no need for any sound amplification.
• The weather forecast keeps changing! The Roaming Band’s wireless sets mean we can perform outdoors without worrying about the rain and unlike a showband that needs a decision to be made due to the stage needing to be set hours beforehand we can change like the wind.

The Roaming Band offers a 3 - 5 piece strolling wedding band consisting of a singing guitarist, saxophonist, violinist, percussionist, and bassist.

Each performance is adaptable to suit you, with the musicians playing on and off for durations of usually 2 x 45, 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets.

The Roaming Band is designed from the outset to be fully mobile and completely bespoke to your big day, we love nothing more than choreographing entrances with brides and grooms for the First Dance.

Whether you’re looking for fun, upbeat party songs or more relaxed and sophisticated jazz classics, the Roaming Band can play a variety of music from different genres and decades, ensuring that as many guests as possible can enjoy and dance to their favourite songs.

The Roaming Band supplies all our own necessary equipment and without the costs of a van to transport all the gear a showband requires, PA hire, setting up costs, packing down time, etc, all of which filter into the quote you receive from a showband. For a roaming band we don’t have any of these costs, so you don’t either!
